Condemning in strict terms the negligence being used by the District Health Officer and the Punjab Government, he said that due to this happening, people are having to buy food at dirty places. And along with that the environment is also polluted. Dhiman said that even though the food is non-vegetarian, it also has fixed and valid standards for eating and selling as per the Act and has a direct relationship with people's bodies. But where the fish are being sold, they are on the very edge of the very dirty drain and there are piles of garbage near it. Due to not handling his waste properly, the area keeps smelling bad and due to his dirt and the dirt of the drain, even in the winter season, there is an abundance of flies. And the same bacteria is making people sick by spreading diseases. No proper arrangement has been made by the municipal council for the fish blood and that waste and it is thrown in the same drain. Dhiman said that neither the District Health Officer has given any direction to these fish sellers and the Nigar Council and also the Municipal Council's functional officer and health officers sitting at the Tehsil level are not paying any attention. He said that neither the District Health Officer has made any guidelines for meat sellers to be displayed at the shops. Giving information, he said that the waste of non-vegetarian animals and their shed blood are thrown on the side of the roads due to negligence and where other stray dogs keep eating and there is also fear of accidents happening to people. He said that due to animal waste lying in the open air, bacteria spread rapidly in the air and spread new diseases to the people. The Punjab government and its health department are fully responsible for these negligences. Dhiman also appealed to the people to always buy non-vegetarian bhajan from clean places and pay attention to cleanliness while buying and also appealed to the health department to issue a fixed guide and make the meat sellers aware instead of getting false fame.
