SAS Nagar, September 23 Mr. Madan Lal Johar, elder brother of social worker leader and senior vice president of Progressive Association Mr. Karan Johar has passed away. He was 60 years old and had been ill for some time.

Mr. Madan Lal Johar was cremated today at the local crematorium. On this occasion, a large number of political and religious leaders, representatives of social service organizations, family members, close relatives and dignitaries of the city gave a final farewell to Mr. Madan Lal Johar. On the occasion of the funeral, the former senior deputy mayor of the municipal corporation Mr. Rishav Jain, constituency in-charge of Akali Dal Mr. Parvinder Singh Sohana, SGPC Member Paramjit Kaur Landra, Former Councilor Kuldeep Kaur Kang, Aam Aadmi Party Leader and Phase 3B2 Market President Akvinder Sigh Gosal, Progressive Association President HS Kanwar and Group office bearers and Phase 4 Residents of were present.

Recitation of Sri Garuna Puran and tribute ceremony for Sri Madan Lal Johar will be held on September 25 at Sri Vaishanas Mata Mandir Phase 3B2 from 2 pm to 3 pm.
