SAS Nagar, January 3 - Cab drivers of Mohali, Chandigarh and Panchkulla went on strike today against the hit and run law passed by the central government. Meanwhile, the cab drivers gathered in Phase 8 and expressed their protest and raised slogans against the central government and demanded the withdrawal of this law. Due to the strike of cab drivers, commuters faced inconvenience in many areas.

According to the information received, there are around 4000 cab taxis of different companies operating in Tricity. Meanwhile, mostly working women and students use them. Mohali and Panchkula have many areas where city bus service is limited and cabs are used more in these areas. But due to the strike of the cab drivers, people had to face trouble.
