The Center should make policies keeping the needs of the states in mind - Inderjit Singh Sandhu

Patiala, February 27 - There are different types of people and different needs in different states, but the central government does not take into account the needs of the states while making policies, due to which the benefit of any scheme does not reach all the states. Therefore, the Center should make policies keeping in mind the needs of the states.

These views were expressed by Inderjit Singh Sandhu, in-charge of Lok Sabha Constituency Patiala and Chairman of Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation Limited from Aam Aadmi Party while talking to the media in Dhanthal village. He had come to inspect the facility camps being set up by the government at this time. Sandhu said that the benefits of the NREGA scheme run by the Center could not be given to the people of Punjab as it should have been. link while in Punjab most of the same roads are going to be built which go to the fields and get closed. He said that many government schemes do not fit Punjab.
  Referring to the health department, Sandhu said that it should be left to Punjab to spend the health money to build mohalla clinics or spend it on any other need of the health sector. Sandhu demanded from the Center that the needs of the respective states must be kept in mind while making any policy.
