Nawanshahr - A football tournament was organized by the Punjab Police at village Ladhana Utcha, giving a message about the prevention of drugs. DSP Sarwan Singh Ball, Vice-Chairman Water Resources Development and Management Corporation Punjab and Halka Echarge Banga Kuljit Singh Sarhal specially participated in the football tournament and encouraged the young players.
Meanwhile, constituency in-charge Kuljit Singh Sarhal said that the football tournament organized by the police department to convey the message against drugs is a very commendable step. He said that while the police department works to prevent drugs, it is the duty of the youth to stay away from drugs and if someone sells drugs, to report it to the police department. He said that the youth should pay maximum attention to sports. Sports are supposed to make us physically strong and with this, drugs do not get too much attention. He also met the players participating in the football tournament. Meanwhile, DSP Sarwan Singh Ball said that a helpline number has also been issued by the police department, if someone sells drugs, then the information should be given to the police department, so that the youth can be saved from deadly diseases like drugs. can
