
A meeting was held with colleges and islet centers regarding making maximum votes of the youth
Nawanshahr, December 5: Additional District Election Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajeev Verma held a meeting with the heads of Kalza and Islet Centers to ensure maximum votes of the youth following the instructions of the Election Commission of India.
Nawanshahr, December 5: Additional District Election Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajeev Verma held a meeting with the heads of Kalza and Islet Centers to ensure maximum votes of the youth following the instructions of the Election Commission of India. He told during the meeting with the principals of all the colleges under the district and the head of the islet setters that there are about 9800 young people of 18-19 years of age in the district who did not cast their vote. 180 of Punjab's youth are studying in colleges and IELTS centers and registration of youth is decreasing.
The Additional District Election Officer directed the Callings and Islet Centers to conduct special activities such as slogan, writing, poster making and rangoli contests to make the youth more aware of voting and those youth who are yet to vote. Form can be submitted online at https://voters.eci.gov.in/ or through mobile voter app or offline to their respective BLOs or by filling Form No. 6 at the District Office. Voter list of each constituency is available for viewing at District Election Office, ERO Office, concerned BLOs and also at www.ceopunjab.nic.in.
