Imphal, Sep 16 - The Manipur government on Monday lifted the temporary ban on internet services in five districts with immediate effect. Commissioner (Home) N Ashok Kumar said the state government has taken stock of the prevailing law and order situation and decided to restore internet services. He said the ban, imposed on September 10 as a precaution in public interest, has been lifted by the state government with the condition of lifting the ban on broadband services on September 13.
