Una, September 9 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited the Maternal Child Care Hospital (MCH Centre) on Monday and reviewed the progress of the service upgradation works going on in the hospital building.

Una, September 9 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited the Maternal Child Care Hospital (MCH Centre) on Monday and reviewed the progress of the service upgradation works going on in the hospital building.
During this, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of the PWD department to complete the pending works in the MCH centre at the earliest. He asked to complete the work of centralized air conditioner, fire fighting equipment, CCTV cameras, sewerage pipe work from the operation room and down ceiling work with speed so that the patients get the benefit soon. He also directed the CMO Una to submit the report of the work progress every other day.
Apart from this, he also took stock of the health services available at the MCH Centre and gave necessary guidelines to the hospital management to further improve the care services.
Jatin Lal said that continuous efforts are being made to improve health care services in the district. He said that people will benefit on a large scale from the facility of 100 beds for mothers and children in the Mother Child Care Hospital. He asked the regional hospital management to ensure that patients do not face any kind of problem in the hospital. They should have ease in getting prescriptions, treatment and testing facilities.
On this occasion, CMO Dr. Sanjeev Verma, MS Dr. Sanjay Mankotia, Superintending Engineer of Public Works Department, Executive Engineer along with other officers and employees were present.
