Una, September 9 - On the 43rd death anniversary of great freedom fighter and founder of Punjab Kesari newspaper group Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan, a special blood donation camp was organized at the Regional Hospital Una on Monday. In this program, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal honored the blood donors and especially emphasized on the importance of blood donation.
In this blood donation camp jointly organized by Punjab Kesari Group and Devbhoomi Foundation Una, the Deputy Commissioner termed blood donation as Mahadaan. He said that blood donation not only saves precious lives but also encourages the spirit of humanity and cooperation in the society. Appreciating the blood donors participating in the camp, the Deputy Commissioner called their selfless service an inspiration for the society.
On this occasion, he paid tribute to immortal martyr Lala Jagat Narain by remembering his patriotism and service spirit.
