Hoshiarpur - National Legal Services Authority, Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, New Delhi in compliance with the orders of Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority, The third national Lok Adalat of the year 2024 is being held on 14 September 2024 at the district and sub-division level under the leadership of Hoshiarpur Dilbagh Singh Johal.
In this regard, CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Raj Pal Rawal held a meeting with the officers of various departments and bank managers today at the new District and Sessions Court Complex Hoshiarpur. During this meeting, a discussion was held with all the officials involved regarding the cases to be kept during the National Lok Adalat.
Meanwhile, all the BDPOs were instructed to do maximum publicity in the villages regarding the National Lok Adalat. Along with this, the bank managers were instructed to file maximum number of cases in this Lok Adalat and the traffic in-charge was instructed to send the padding challans to the courts through this Lok Adalat. Cases were discussed with Axion of Power Department. BSNL's Junior Assistant Officer Paramveer Singh on pre-litigative cases and MACT Padding Cases Assistant Officer of Insurance Companies were asked to dispose of as many cases as possible in the Lok Adalat to be set up so that people get the benefit of this Lok Adalat. can The concerned officers who participated in this meeting were given directions by the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority to spread maximum publicity about the benefits of Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services) so that the public utility services are available to the maximum extent possible.
