Patiala, September 7 - Former councillor from ward number 14 of Congress party and senior Congress leader Richie Dakala has said that the "AAP" government and Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann have double-cheated the people of Punjab.

Two days ago, the Punjab government had increased the prices of petrol and diesel and now the government has withdrawn the subsidy of Rs 2.5 given to consumers up to 7 kilowatts with immediate effect. These consumers will no longer get any subsidy and will have to pay the full bill. Richie, expressing his opposition to the increased electricity rates and petrol-diesel rates of the current government, has directly called it a double betrayal with the people of Punjab.

Due to which there is an outcry among the common people regarding these increased rates. He said that now people are remembering the previous Congress government in Punjab and cursing the current government. Every day some new burden is being put on the people of Punjab in some form or the other.
