This singing of the tales will continue for about 9 days. Which will end on 27 August on the day of Guga Navami. On this day, prasad is distributed all over India in the name of Guga ji. Disciple Rajkumar of Guga Mandali told that Guga Jahar Peer ji was born on Navami in Dadrewa Churu, Rajasthan. Guga Jahar Peer ji is also worshipped as the god of snakes. From Santokhgarh, they form a group of 8-10 people and roam from village to village barefoot from Rakshabandhan to Guga Navami with other local musical instruments like Doru, Dholki etc. and sing the glories of Guga Jahar Peer.
