Nawanshahr - A letter was issued by Head Granthi Gyani Raghvir Singh Ji of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Amritsar Sahib regarding calling Bhagat Sahibs recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as Bhagat. Representatives of Sri Guru Ravidas Namleva Sangats and organizations participated enthusiastically in Sri Guru Ravidas Gurudwara Sahib Nawanshahr to discuss this topic.On this occasion, Gyani Sewa Singh Head Granthi Gurughar, Sai Pappal Shah Ji President Sufi Dargah Committee Punjab, Satpal Sahlon President Sri Guru Ravidas Welfare Trust, Nikku Ram Janagal, Satish Kumar, Roshan Chhokran, Raman Kumar Maan, Sukhdev Kumar Begumpur Tiger Force and Gyani Gurdeep Singh Udapar expressed their views. All the respected speakers who came refuted this letter and termed it antisocial and it was decided to reject it. They said that Guru Ravidas was our Guru earlier also, is our Guru even today and will remain Guru in future also.
The speakers said that the contractors of Sikhism are trying to break/distance our society from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. In which the verses of our revered great Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji are written. According to the constitution of our country India, we all have the constitutional right to convert any daughter's religion and to follow any Guru or great man. There is no need for anyone to interfere in the Ravidasiya community of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji Namleva. If someone does such an act under confusion, then the people of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji Namleva are ready to answer him face to face.
