While giving information, District Ayush Officer Una, Dr. Jyoti Kanwar said that hundreds of patients are being treated with Panchakarma method in the District Ayurvedic Hospital Una equipped with all facilities and the patients are enjoying the benefits of their health.
He told that in District Ayurvedic Hospital Una, hundreds of patients are being treated successfully with Panchakarma, Ksharsutra, Cupping and Marma therapy, Homeopathy etc. He told that in Panchakarma, patients are being treated with procedures like Shirodhara, Snehana, Swedan, Akshitarpan etc.
Dr. Jyoti Kanwar told that Panchakarma can be adopted by a sick person as well as a healthy person. He said that multipurpose free camps are being organized from time to time by the AYUSH department in remote areas of Una and Bone Measurement (BMD) camps and Yoga camps are being organized from time to time.
District AYUSH Officer, Dr. Jyoti Kanwar told that Dr. Vinay Jaswal, Dr. Amandeep Sonkhla, is treating the patients with Panchakarma method and Dr. Vinay Jaswal is successfully treating hemorrhoids and hemorrhoids with Ksharsutra method.
He informed that a total of 24 free medical camps have been organized in Una from April, 2023 to February, 2024 in which 10584 beneficiaries have availed their health benefits.
Since April, 2023, 80 patients have been successfully treated using the Ksharsutra method. A total of 502 different types of procedures were done using the Panchakarma method, including Raktamokshan, Marma Chikitsa, Jaloka, Agnikarma and Cupping.
District AYUSH Officer Una Dr. Jyoti Kanwar has said that every possible effort is being made to take the AYUSH department to the pinnacle of progress. There is a proposal going on to open two Panchakarma resorts in Una district. There is a possibility of opening two Panchakarma resorts in Una soon.
