Jalandhar, September 14 The state president of the CPF Employees Union, Sukhjit Singh, the leader of the struggle for the restoration of the old pension scheme, was placed under house arrest by the Punjab government on the arrival of party supremo Arvind Kejriwal to Jalandhar. It is worth mentioning that Sukhjit Singh was transferred from Phillaur to Dhar Kalan by the Bhagwant Mann government with a sense of revenge.
The union has today organized protests across Punjab against the restoration of the old pension scheme and the vindictive replacement of the government by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, due to which the government is in a complete shambles.
