Mohali: The education department has canceled the transfers of 162 lecturers and teachers in the School of Eminence. Education Minister Harojat Singh Bains has issued orders in this regard.
The Education Department of Punjab has canceled the transfers of lecturers and teachers in the School of Eminence with immediate effect after a major clash. According to the details, these teachers were transferred from government high and senior secondary schools of Punjab to different eminence schools of Punjab. But because of these transfers in Punjab, there was a big controversy due to which the Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has canceled these transfers with immediate effect.
It must be mentioned that Balwinder Kaur, a member of 1158 Assistant Professor and Librarian Government College Union, committed suicide by jumping into the canal near the iron bridge of Sirhind Canal on Sunday. He also left a suicide note blaming Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains for the suicide. The dead body of Balwinder Kaur was recovered from Sirhind Canal on Monday.
