SAS Nagar, September 8 Dr. BR Ambedkar Missionary Welfare Association Mohali organized a blood donation camp at Sri Guru Ravidas Gurdwara Sahib located in Phase-7 with the support of Guru Ravidas Youth Sabha Mohali.

Chairman of the association Anil Kumar said that the blood bank team of Government Multispeciality Hospital (GMSH) Sector 16 Chandigarh collected blood units in this camp organized on the completion of 10 years of the association.

Association President Dr. Jatinder Singh said that due to the heavy rain this time, a disease like dengue has taken its toll on a large number of people due to which there is a shortage of platelets in the patients. In such circumstances more and more people should come forward to donate blood so that precious lives can be saved.
