Garhshankar - World Ozone Day was celebrated at Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar. On this occasion, the Department of Botany organized a poster making competition for students on the topic of 'Montreal Protocol Advanced Climate Action'. In which the students participated enthusiastically. In the competition, student Kirandeep Kaur BSc Part 1 won the first position, Deeksha BSc BEd Part 2, Priya BA BEd Part 3 and Kiranpreet Kaur BSc BEd Part 4 got the third position. On this occasion, Dr. Kuldeep Kaur, Head of the Department of Botany, highlighted the importance of ozone. Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira congratulated the students who won the competition and distributed the prizes. He encouraged the students to participate in such activities in future as well.
