Jalandhar:- Under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Maan in Punjab, increasing steps of health revolution 842 Aam Aadmi Clinics have been dedicated to the people of Punjab. While these Aam Aadmi Clinics are equipped with every necessary facility, a great effort has been made to take care of the health facilities of the people of Punjab. Due to the increasing steps of health revolution, crores of people of Punjab have been treated in these mohalla clinics so far. Efforts have been made to provide health facilities to people near their homes through Mohalla clinics. Punjab Government's main objective is to strengthen education and health facilities.
Out of total 842 Aam Admi clinics in the state, 312 are functioning in urban areas and 530 in rural areas. Apart from free treatment, free medicines are also being provided in these clinics. Every clinic is equipped with IT infrastructure.
Burden on government hospitals reduced
After the start of Aam Aadmi Clinic in the state, the burden on civil hospitals has also reduced. These clinics have proved to be a boon especially for patients in need of OPD services, who so far were not availing government health services due to the fear of standing in long queues. The trust of those people is increasing on Aam Aadmi clinics instead of private hospitals. Common people say that all kinds of medicines are available here for simple diseases and the doctors in the clinics are also very good. The Hon'ble government has given great facilities to the common people in the form of Mohalla clinics because the poor people cannot get their treatment in expensive hospitals. In these clinics, many patients come for cold, cold, fever, BP, diabetes, skin related and other diseases. People are thanking the Punjab government for these facilities.
