Jalandhar: The road safety force created by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to save the precious lives of the people is getting meaningful results. So far many precious lives have been saved by Road Safety Force and houses have been saved from destruction. About 1250 lives were saved by the force within 3 months of its formation.
The Punjab government has provided modern vehicles equipped with all necessary equipment to the Road Safety Force to help the accident victims. According to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the police have the best vehicles on the roads of Punjab. The Punjab government has instructed all the hospitals to provide immediate treatment to the accident victims. The expenditure incurred on this is borne by the government.
ASI Surinder Kumar posted in the Road Safety Force said that as soon as we get the information about the accident, we reach the place of the incident within 5-7 minutes. Similarly, Constable Sunita Rani said that instructions have been given to the women employees mainly to take care of the women injured in the accident. He said that first the injured are given first aid and when they recover, they are either taken home or their families are contacted and handed over to them. Constable Rajinder Kumar said that they also prevent people from parking wrongly, so that no accident happens due to this and the traffic also runs smoothly.
