Ahmedabad, September 16 - Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 20.8 km long corridor of the second phase of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project here on Monday. On this occasion, he also interacted with the young passengers while traveling in the metro.
On this occasion, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvarat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were also with him. Modi has shared pictures of his metro ride on his 'X' handle. He wrote in his post: "Inaugurated the second phase of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project and left for today's program with energetic youth."
The second phase of the Ahmedabad Metro project will connect Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Motera and Gandhinagar Sector 1 with the metro.
