District Family Welfare Officer Dr. SJ Singh said that 1100 rupees for performing non-incisional sterilization for men under fixed methods of family planning.
600 rupees for scheduled caste and below poverty line families for female castration surgery.
And women belonging to the general category are given an amount of Rs. 250 by the health department.
Dr. SJ Singh said that from July 11 to 24, incisionless sterilization for men under permanent methods of family planning.
And camps will also be organized in government health centers to conduct sterilization operations for women. On this occasion, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr Rachna, District TB Officer Dr Gurpit Nagra, Senior Medical Officer Dr Vikas Goyal, District Mass Media Officer Kulbir Kaur, Deputy Mass Media Officer Jasjit Kaur, District Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Monica Sharma, District BCC Coordinator Jasveer Kaur, DSA Tripta and Bittu were also present.
