Kharar: September 11 - The Aam Aadmi Party government of the state has put a heavy financial burden on the common people of Punjab by increasing VAT by 92 paise on diesel and 61 paise on petrol and also increasing bus fares. The common people have also been cheated by ending the subsidy of up to Rs 3 per unit on electricity up to 7 kilowatts. These things were expressed by senior Punjab BJP leader Narendra Rana and demanded that justice be done to the people of Punjab by taking back this additional burden put on the common people of Punjab. Narendra Rana said that the conditions created by the 'AAP government' in the state during its tenure of two and a half years. Perhaps the state has never seen such a decline before. Punjab has been turned into a poor Punjab. The Aam Aadmi Party government, which came into power by terming the taxes imposed by the previous governments and the loans taken by them as a burden on the common people, has put a huge burden on the common people of the state by imposing new taxes of Rs 12,500 crore and during the last two and a half years, it has taken a new loan of Rs one lakh crore, but has not started a single infrastructure project, nor has it started any social welfare scheme. Today, the honorable government of Aam Aadmi Party in the state is proving to be a failure on every front. He said that today the state government has burdened Punjab with debt and the government is continuously taking loans for its personal interests. He said that the AAP government, which claims to make Rangla Punjab, has made Punjab a Kangla Punjab.
Narinder Rana said that there is a secret agreement between the 'AAP government' and the 'Congress party' in Punjab, due to which the Congress is not raising the issues of the people of Punjab properly. The people of Punjab are now liking the BJP because the real battle for the people of Punjab is being fought by the BJP. He said that only BJP can make Punjab economically strong and prosperous, only BJP can protect the rights of the employees, farmers and common people of Punjab, only BJP can do development work in Punjab, only BJP can make Punjab the real Rangla Punjab.
