Kharar/Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 6 September 2024:- As per the directions of Senior Captain Police District SAS Nagar Shri Deepak Pareek, during the campaign being run by District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Police against bad elements, under the supervision of Mrs. Dr. Jyoti Yadav, Captain Police (Investigation) and Talwinder Singh Deputy Captain Police (Investigation), the team of Inspector Harminder Singh, Incharge, CIA Staff Mohali Camp and Kharar arrested 05 accused in 02 different cases, 110 grams of Heroin and 02 cars have been recovered from their possession. Dr. Jyoti Yadav, Captain Police (Investigation) informed that on 03-09-2024, a police party of CIA Staff was present at the blockade near Ambedkar Mazdoor Union, Punjab, Kharar. During checking, a car number PB65-BG-4108 brand Verna, black colour, in which two young men were riding, was stopped and checked, from which 30 grams of heroin was recovered. Case number: 307 dated 03-09-2024 A/D 21-61-85 NDPS Act Police Station City Kharar was registered against the following accused. The accused are on police remand.
Similarly, on 05-09-2024, the police party of CIA staff was present at the blockade in Main Market Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar Kharar. During the blockade and checking, a car number PB29-AG-4832 brand Swift colour white in which three youths were riding was stopped and checked. From which 80 grams of heroin was recovered. Case No: 309 dated 05-09-2024 dated 21/29-61-85 NDPS Act PS City Kharar was registered against the following accused. The accused were produced in the court and sent to police custody.

Arrested accused:-
1. Accused Chanpreet Singh son of Baljinder Singh resident near Gurdwara Singh Sabha village Bhanihari PS Sadar Sirsa District Sirsa Haryana presently resident Flat No. 22C near Golden Estate JTPL Society Landra Road Kharar District SAS Nagar age 25 years who has passed 12th class, unmarried. A case has already been registered against the accused under section 306 IPC at Maqboolpura Police Station, Amritsar.
2. Accused Harpal Singh son of Davinder Singh resident of Dhani Dilbagh Singh Village Bhanihari Police Station Sadar Sirsa District Sirsa Haryana currently resident of Flat No. 22C Near Golden Estate JTPL Society Landra Road Kharar District SAS Nagar age 28 years who is 11th pass and unmarried.

2) Case No: 309 Dated 05-09-2024 A/D 21/29-61-85 NDPS Act Police Station City Kharar Arrested Accused:-
1. Accused Amandeep Singh alias Hunter alias Kulwant son of Late Gurmeet Singh resident of Village Raunke Kalan, Police Station Vadhni Kalan, District Moga, Age 28 Years, 10th Pass and Unmarried.
2. Harmandeep Singh alias Hammu son of Jaswant Singh resident of Village Rajewana Police Station Baga Purana, District Moga, Age 33 Years, 10th Pass and Unmarried. A case of assault is already registered against the accused in Baga Purana police station.
3. Accused Gursewak Singh son of Gurdeep Singh, resident of village Roda, police station Smelser, district Moga, age 36 years, has passed class XII and is married.

Recovery details:-
1) 02 cars (one car brand Swift and one car brand Verna)
2) 110 grams of Heroin
