Nawanshahr - An important meeting was held to collect funds for Sardar Tara Singh Kahma Red Cross Special School under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Mr. Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa. The organization serves many children who are hearing and speech impaired, highlighting the urgent need for a new van to assist with their daily transportation. During the meeting, the leaders of various organizations were appealed to contribute financially for this important work.
Recognizing the power of collective effort, a crowdfunding initiative has also been launched, inviting all residents of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district to join this noble endeavour. In appreciation of their generosity, those who contributed to the purchase of the van will be awarded a certificate of appreciation as a token of our sincere gratitude. In addition, we are pleased to introduce a new initiative at the school – Lifetime Membership.
By making a financial contribution, individuals can become lifelong members, creating a lasting bond with the school and its children. At the meeting, 14 individuals have already committed to become lifetime members.
