With the aim of making the experience of the purity and spirituality of this Devbhoomi reach the people and to take the religious-cultural tourism in the state to new heights, the Himachal government has decided to organize 'Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav'. This festival, which is going to be organized in Amb of Una district from 14 to 16 September, will not be just a festival but a Maha Kumbh of faith, culture, and prosperity.

With the aim of making the experience of the purity and spirituality of this Devbhoomi reach the people and to take the religious-cultural tourism in the state to new heights, the Himachal government has decided to organize 'Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav'. This festival, which is going to be organized in Amb of Una district from 14 to 16 September, will not be just a festival but a Maha Kumbh of faith, culture, and prosperity.
Mata Shri Chintapurni Ji, who has resolved the worries of her devotees since time immemorial, is now going to provide a new and unique experience through this festival. This three-day festival will witness such a unique confluence of religion, culture, and entertainment, which will be a memorable experience for the devotees. This event will prove to be an important step in bringing the religious and cultural richness of Himachal to the global stage and will also prove to be helpful in boosting the economy of the state.
Starting with a procession on September 14
The festival will begin on September 14 with a grand procession from Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple, which will go till SDM office Amb. This procession will be a supernatural experience, where everyone will experience the grace of the Mother Goddess, being drenched in the feelings of religion and devotion.
Cultural evenings and sports competitions
Cultural evenings, sports competitions and other activities organized in this festival will bring alive the rich cultural heritage of Himachal. Auditions of artists will be held in Amb College from 2 to 4 September for cultural evenings, so that talented artists of the state can showcase their art. Exhibition stalls will also be set up by various departments in the festival, which will display the schemes and achievements of the government. Apart from this, the market set up in Mela Maidan Amb and the swings and other equipment for the entertainment of children will add to its attraction.
Collection of memories of the festival
To immortalize the memories of this festival, a special souvenir will also be published. In this, articles based on the history of Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple as well as the rich traditions, heritage, and literary heritage of Una district will be published. Vision of CM and Deputy CM
Chief Minister Mr Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mr Mukesh Agnihotri, who are also holding the responsibility of the Ministry of Language, Art, and Culture, have taken up the task of realizing the concept of 'Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav'. This vision of theirs will not only take religious and cultural tourism in the state to new heights, but will also give a new identity to the cultural heritage of Himachal. Along with this, the state government is making a significant investment of about Rs 250 crore for the beautification of Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple, which will further enhance the grandeur of this holy place.
