District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal started this campaign by putting the voter awareness tag on the gas cylinders at the district administrative complex and flagging off the vehicle of gas cylinders. The Deputy Commissioner said that so far the gas cylinder has been used only for cooking food in the kitchen, but now it will also educate voters across the district to vote. He said that this initiative of the district administration for voter awareness will now reach the kitchen of the houses and the tool will be a gas cylinder. He said that this unique initiative has been taken to motivate the voters to vote under the sweep activities.
The District Election Officer appealed to all the voters of the district to use their votes in the elections to be held on June 1 for the Lok Sabha Elections-2024. He said that this is the festival of democracy. All the voters have to show their share in this festival. All eligible voters should exercise their right to vote in Ustav by participating in the great sacrifice of democracy. On this occasion District Sweep Nodal Officer Preet Kohli, Assistant Public Relations Officer Lokesh Kumar, Assistant Sweep Nodal Officer Ankur Sharma, Election Kanugo Deepak Kumar and Lakhveer Singh, Axion Kuldeep Singh, Assistant Nodal Officer Media Communication Rajnish Guliani, Neeraj Dhiman were also present.
