
Efforts to organize 'Mata Shri Chintapurni Festival' are intensified
Una, August 22 - With the aim of giving a new impetus to religious and cultural tourism in Himachal Pradesh, preparations have intensified for organizing the three-day 'Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav' to be held at the famous Shaktipeeth Shri Chintapurni. This festival, being organized for the first time, will be celebrated from 14 to 16 September. To take stock of the preparations for the event, Chintapurni MLA Sudarshan Bablu along with Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inspected the sports ground Amb on Thursday.

The MLA said that Mata Shri Chintapurni Dham is the center of faith of the people. Thousands of devotees come to visit Mata Shri Chintapurni. Organizing the festival here will be an unmatched experience for all the devotees. Various activities will be organized to promote religious-spiritual-cultural tourism. He urged everyone to work responsibly for the successful organization of the festival.
Sudarshan Bablu said that on the occasion of the inauguration of the festival on September 14, a grand procession will be taken out from Mata Shri Chintapurni Temple to SDM office Amb. After that the procession will reach Mata Shri Chintapurni Festival fair site, sports ground Amb. Departmental exhibitions will also be held there and cultural programs will be organized.

At the same time, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal reiterated his commitment to make the festival memorable by organizing it in a grand manner. He said that efforts will be made to give it a special identity along with organizing the festival in a grand and divine manner. He said that Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav is being organized for the first time. Therefore, all departmental officers should fulfill their responsibility of completing the assigned tasks with unity.
Let us tell you, Chief Minister Mr. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while participating in a program organized in Chintpurni a few months ago under the Government Gaon Ke Dwar program, had talked about taking a new initiative in the religious tourism sector and starting a grand festival. He had given instructions to the district administration regarding its organization. The administration has moved forward as per his instructions and has made preparations for organizing the festival.
There will also be cultural programs and sports competitions
The Deputy Commissioner said that on the occasion of Mata Shri Chintapurni Mahotsav, various sports and adventure games will be organized from 1st September to 30th September. He said that adventure games will be organized at Ramlila Ground Amb. While cultural programs, tambola and sports competitions will be held at Khel Maidan Amb. Along with this, exhibition stalls related to the schemes, achievements and programs of the state government will also be set up by various departments.
During this, SDM Amb Vivek Mahajan, Block Congress President Ravindra Kumar and officers from various departments and Congress party workers were present.
