He said that we have enjoyed freedom from the sacrifice of many patriots. A citizen of any slave country is like a caged bird that can flap its wings but cannot soar high in the sky. The freedom of our country is a precious gift that is priceless. This is why 15th August is a very important day for the people of India. Today we are free but we can enjoy this freedom only if we try to remove bribery, corruption etc. from the country.
Every person of the country should be honest towards the country, that will be the true tribute to the martyrs of our country. He said that on 15 August 1947, our country became independent and Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of the country, hoisted the country's flag and addressed the country at the Red Fort.
