Nawanshahr - Red Cross Addiction and Rehabilitation Center Nawanshahr organized an awareness camp under "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan" at Gurdwara Shri Guru Ravidas, Village Musapur. Which was chaired by Shri Kulveer Singh (Sarpanch).
On this occasion, Chaman Singh (Project Director) gave an address and said that the youth of Punjab are badly trapped in the nexus of drugs, while the history of Punjab is not like this. The land of Punjab has always given birth to brave warriors, but some People are putting the youth on the path of drugs for their own benefits. He said that the youth should be aware of drugs so that the diseases caused by drugs can be avoided. Addiction alienates a person from society and family. The mental level of a person addicted to drugs falls to such an extent that he starts committing accidents like suicide while being away from each and every relationship. Due to drug addiction, the youth themselves become mentally ill, and the family members also become mentally ill and the family becomes economically weak.
