Hoshiarpur - After receiving news of beef promotion in a poster showing the source of iron outside a room of the Gyne Ward of the local Civil Hospital, Ashwani Gaind, a member of Animal Care Society and founder president of 'Nai Soch', reached the hospital with his colleagues and took strict cognizance of this and demanded the hospital administration to take special care of these things in future. On this occasion, he said that it is very sad that despite the ban, posters promoting beef are put up in civil hospitals and the officials are not even aware of it, which raises many questions. He said that even though the hospital administration removed the posters after the news came out, he visited other bars of the hospital to ensure that such posters were not put up anywhere. When SMO Dr. Swati was talked to in this regard, she said that as soon as the matter came to her notice, she has removed the posters and these things will be taken care of in future. She said that a student had made a poster which was put up there and it has been removed from there. Mr. Gain appealed to them to pay special attention to these things and make the students aware of these things, so that such mistakes are not made in future.
