Aud - An enthusiastic joint march was taken out in Aud town in support of the joint call of Samyukt Kisan Morcha and trade unions 'BJP Bhagao, Sabka Sikhao'. They invited the people of the area to oppose the BJP during the elections and question other parties on their performance and also took serious note of the uncontrolled spread of drugs in the area. Apart from youth groups, sports clubs and other important conscious citizens, farmers' organizations also participated in the meeting. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Ram Kumar Mahal Khurd, Buta Singh Mahmoodpur, BKU (Lakhowal) leader Ranjit Singh Ratanda, Doaba Kisan Union leader Amarjit Singh Burj, Bharti Kisan Union (Siddhupur) Balkar Singh Dhindsa, Kesar Singh Malhi, Kishan Lal Mahi Nasha Virodhi Committee leader Kamaljit Sajan, Bachitar Singh Mahmoodpu and other leaders said that BJP is not only anti-farmer, but its policy is fatal for all the working and business class of the society. By forming the government for the third time, BJP will push the country towards economic slavery and communal destruction. While it is important to be cautious to defeat the BJP, it is also important to question other parties that break promises, so that political parties bent on breaking promises cannot play with the sentiments of the voters. Targeting the Punjab government, the speakers said that the 'Aam Aadmi Party', which came to power by promising to end drug addiction in two months, has not paid attention to a single major issue of Punjab. The populist politics of 'free electricity' has made Punjab economically bankrupt. The people of Punjab should reject the misleading propaganda of this politics and raise the real issues of Punjab.
