The 37th batch of 60 pilgrims paid obeisance at Kartarpur (Pakistan) by Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society.

Despite the rising heat and harvesting of crops, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people of the area for this yatra.

Not only from Nawanshahr district but also from far away Sangats either go with the group by booking through Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society or visit Kartarpur Sahib according to their convenience in their own vehicles. After the batch on April 30, the 37th batch of 60 pilgrims sent by the society yesterday on May 15 paid obeisance at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Sahib. Sharing this information, Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society Chief Sevadar Surjit Singh said that last month also two groups were sent to Kartarpur and during these two and a half months more than 500 devotees have visited Kartarpur Sahib.
This time, the members of the group who went by bus and private vehicles first bowed down at Gurdwara Baba Bakala Sahib at Amrit and then entered Pakistan through Dera Baba Terminal and visited Gurdwara Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur Sahib. The members of the group led by Daljit Singh Kariha said that the feeling of joy that one gets by seeing this shrine cannot be described in words. The group returned late at night after performing darshan.
Special morning and evening meals are also arranged by the society for these groups. Apart from Nawanshahr, Sangats from Kathgarh, Mehtpur Uldani, Bachhori, Dhamai, Saloh, Kariha, Kahama Banga, Talwandi Fattu, Johlan and Bhogpur were also included in this group.
