Patiala, April 8 - The district administration and its "sweep" team are working hard to meet the target of more than 70 percent polling during the Lok Sabha polls on June 1. Through its various activities, voters are being encouraged to exercise their right to vote.
The voters of Patiala Lok Sabha Constituency are being motivated towards polling with paintings and various competitions. A beautiful painting has been done on the ground right in front of the main gate of the Mini Secretariat which attracts everyone passing by and also conveys the importance of voting. District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Patiala Shaukat Ahmed Pare has also issued a special video clip and strongly appealed to more than 17.88 lakh voters of Patiala Lok Sabha Constituency to exercise their precious right to vote to further strengthen democracy.
