In footage posted on social media by the Resistance Committee, an activist group involved in providing humanitarian aid, bodies can be seen wrapped in white sheets in an open hospital complex. The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces blamed the Sudanese Air Force for the attack. However, it was not immediately possible to independently verify this claim. Violence has continued in Sudan since mid-April.
There the country's army was led by General Abdel Fattah Burhan and the paramilitary force RSF was led by General Mohammed Hamdan Daglo. The tension between them turned into a fight in April. Since then, the conflict has spread to many parts of the country and Khartoum has become an urban battlefield.
