He said that the work of the sheds to be built at a cost of 90 lakh rupees is going on in full swing and soon a gate will be installed around the four walls of the market and shops will also be constructed. Due to the location of Mehmedpur Mandi Patiala in Sangrur, about 40 thousand farmers of the area will be able to be inspired to plant fruits and vegetables in its radius of 25 km. He said that the construction of steel cover sheds in the purchase center village Sultanpur and village Banera Kalan, the link road from village Burst to village Banera Kalan-Sarajpur and the construction of the dam and road of Anaj Mandi village Gajju Majra, village Jodi Majra and Dhablan are being done. are He appealed to the people to encourage their children to get good education and participate in commercial farming. Keeping in mind the future of Punjab and the children, the Mandi Board is giving sports training to the children under the cover seeds of the Mandis during the off season.
