Patiala, March 16 - In protest against the alleged thrashing of a PRTC conductor by the employees of the Dhreri Jattan Toll Plaza on the Patiala-Rajpura road, the PRTC employees blocked the Nawa Bus Stand Chowk here today. and protested These employees sitting on dharna demanded that after identifying the toll employees, they should be arrested immediately by registering an FIR.
Gurpreet Singh, a PRTC employee on strike, said that his colleague was coming to Patiala from Chandigarh by bus. There was a crowd at the Dheredi Jat Toll Plaza Due to which the conductor asked to hurry. Angered by this, the toll employee sitting at the counter and his colleagues allegedly assaulted the PRTC conductor and tore his uniform. PRTC employees also staged a dharna at the toll plaza and after taking statements, the police registered a case against unidentified persons.
