
World Hepatitis Awareness Day celebrated
Mandi Gobindgarh, July 29 - Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital celebrated Hepatitis Awareness Day with an aim to create awareness about health care. The event brought together healthcare professionals and community members to raise awareness about hepatitis, promote prevention strategies and support those affected by the virus.

The event brought together healthcare professionals and community members to raise awareness about hepatitis, promote prevention strategies and support those affected by the virus. Dr Smita Johar, Principal, Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital said, “Hepatitis Awareness Day was a testament to the power of community and collaboration to tackle one of the world's most pressing health challenges. "Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the information and resources they need to protect themselves and their loved ones." On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day-2024, an awareness lecture was conducted by the Department of Veterinary Medicine under the leadership of Dr. Smita Johar, Principal and Dr. Kulbhushan, Director of Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital. Dr. Rajni Rani, Assistant Professor, Department of Physiotherapy shared information about the disease with BAMS final and second year students. Dr. Vinayak Anand, Dr. Mani Sharma, Dr. Nishant Paika, Satyam Kumar and other faculty members were present on this occasion.
