Registration process of eligible voters for elections of SGPC board members till July 31

Una, July 15- The work of preparing the electoral roll for the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee elections will be done by July 31, 2024. Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that eligible voters can get themselves registered for the election of the members of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Board.

Una, July 15- The work of preparing the electoral roll for the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee elections will be done by July 31, 2024. Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that eligible voters can get themselves registered for the election of the members of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Board. He said that as per the schedule received from the Director Panchayati Raj and Commissioner Gurdwara Elections Himachal Pradesh, the preliminary publication of the handwritten manual will be done from August 1 to August 20 and its printing and maintenance. He said that the preliminary publication of the manual will be done by the Deputy Commissioner on August 21. Claims and objections related to the name, post and address published in the preliminary publication list or in the case of an employee, his post and address can be submitted before the concerned revision authority by August 21. He said that the last date for receiving claims and objections will be September 11. All claims and objections received under Rule 10(3) of the Sikh Gurdwara Board Election Rules, 1959 will be settled from September 12 to September 20, 2024. Apart from this, from September 21 to October 4, the abbreviated lists will be prepared for printing and the final publication of voter lists will be done on October 5.
The District Election Officer has appealed to the eligible voters of the district to get themselves registered for the SGPC elections by July 31.
