Nawanshahr - On the directions of Honorable Civil Surgeon Dr. Jaspreet Kaur and Assistant Commissioner (Food) Harpreet Kaur, the food safety team conducted a blockade at Balachore Tehsil today and stopped the milk supply vehicles and sampled the milk.
After this sampling of milk dairies located at different places in the tehsil was done. Meanwhile, Food Safety Officer Sangeeta Sahadev instructed the milk workers to work cleanly and maintain records regarding the sale and purchase of milk so that adulteration can be curbed.
 He said that a total of 10 samples were taken by the team from different dairies and vehicles, which have been sent to the state lab for testing and further action will be taken after the report comes.
