Chandigarh, August 2, 2024:- The University Institute of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development at Panjab University, Chandigarh recently organized an impressive poetry recital to pay tribute to the heroes of the Kargil War. This event was conducted by Junior Research Fellow Kulbir Kaur under the guidance of Dr. Prabhadeep Brar, Chairperson of the Department. Arash Garg, a fifth semester student of BSc Fashion and Lifestyle Technology, gave a mesmerizing rendition of a poem by Dr. Hariyom Pawar. The audience was deeply moved by the recital, which vividly brought to life the bravery of the martyrs, the courage of their families and the pride of the country. The objective of this solemn program was to introduce the students to the countless heroes of the country, reminding us that even if we do not know each of their names, we are indebted to them all.
