2 week dairy training course from 11th June

Hoshiarpur - Dairy Development Department, Punjab is starting a 2 week dairy training course from 11th June 2024 at Dairy Training Centre, Phagwara. Giving information in this regard, Deputy Director Dairy Vikas Kashmir Singh said that in this training program, information will be given about the latest techniques of dairy cattle from purchase to maintenance, feeding, breed improvement, udder conservation and proper marketing.

Giving information in this regard, Deputy Director Dairy Vikas Kashmir Singh said that in this training program, information will be given about the latest techniques of dairy cattle from purchase to maintenance, feeding, breed improvement, udder conservation and proper marketing. Eligibility for this course is that the learner belongs to a rural area, has passed at least 5th standard and is between 18 to 55 years of age. The fee for the training course will be Rs.1000 for General Category and Rs.750 for Scheduled Caste trainees. Candidates willing to take the training should bring their documents like education certificate, Aadhaar card, voter card, caste certificate and 2 passport size photographs to the office of Deputy Director Dairy, Mini Sartret, 4th Floor, Room No. 439 till 10th June 2024. After receiving the training, the trainees will be able to take loan of 2 to 10 milch animals and the government will provide financial assistance of 25 percent for general caste and 33 percent for scheduled caste.
